“We met David right at the start of wedding planning…

…not long after getting engaged, and he was the first supplier booked after the venue. Chatting to him at the wedding fair we instantly loved his relaxed and friendly style which runs through both his photography and his personality. We knew we wanted a laid-back wedding, and both instantly felt that David would be the right fit. This became even more important in the run-up to the wedding last year! He took the changes and potential back-up plans in his stride and was so supportive throughout. Wandering around Edinburgh getting our portraits done is genuinely one of our favourite memories of the wedding: Between trying to hold on to my dress in the wind, getting caught up in a peloton, and slowly side-stepping to get the perfect shot, we had a lot of fun. We felt like David really took the time to get to know us as a couple and understood the spooky vibe we were going for with our Halloween wedding. I could honestly talk about my favourite photos for hours – David has a great eye for location and timing, and we loved all the wee surprises he added, like bringing along a smoke bomb and playing with exposure to make me look like a wee ghost! We were so excited to see how the photos would turn out and we were not disappointed. We were initially shown a taster slideshow of photos, before seeing the full digital pack and being sent a stunning wee keepsake box. Everything about the physical product is lovely and really speaks to David’s eye for detail; we especially loved the box made with sustainable materials, and the printed photos are such beautiful quality. If you’re looking for a relaxed, friendly, fun and imaginative photographer then this is your guy. All in all, David captured a beautiful moment in our lives and we cannot thank him enough!”
