Suffolk Countryside Manor Wedding Featuring Horses and Hippos
Ella & Adam | Priory Hall, Hadleigh | May 2018
When Ella & Adam contacted me and asked me to travel to Suffolk from Glasgow to photograph their wedding, I was super excited. I love a wee road trip and live for travel and adventure.
What made this even more special was that Adam & Ella wanted to come up to Scotland for an engagement shoot (photos at end of blog) and I was tasked to find the right location. So I thought what place for me truly represents Scotland and it's beauty. It had to be Loch Lomond. Speaking of beauty, Adam's rendition of 'Flower of Scotland' throughout the day would have made a grown man weep... for various reasons!
The wedding date was 19th May 2018, which if you may recall was the same date as another little wedding I've been hearing about that featured some couple called Harry and Meghan. Who knows? I only had one wedding on my mind.
Priory Hall, Hadleigh, Suffolk is such a cool wedding venue. It's an exclusive use Tudor styled manor house... exactly what you picture in your mind when you think English countryside wedding. Adam & Ella were so much fun throughout the day. I pride myself on naturally capturing personalities and the atmosphere of a day and when the bride and groom and all of their guests are so up for it, it makes my job so fun and rewarding. The weather was incredible throughout my visit down south. This pasty Scottish photographer is glad that he remembered his suntan lotion.
Thank you to all of the following awesome suppliers who all brought their A game to help create a memorable day for everyone. A special shout out to my second photographer (Georgia Rachael) who really helped capture the day beautifully.
