Ida & David came across to Scotland from Norway for a very intimate wedding ceremony at Eilean Donan Castle, Isle of Skye. It was such a great experience to explore the island with such an awesome couple. These two were amazing and it was a total honour to see them so happy and in love… they absolutely embraced the experience.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I freaking love shooting elopements! They incorporate all of the elements of photography and life that I love… a relaxed pace, intimacy, nature, hiking, fun, exploring beautiful locations and spending time with like-minded adventurers.

If you’ve never been to the Scottish highlands and islands, I’d recommend exploring as much as possible. Even if it’s not for a wedding, get out there and take in the unbelievable scenery. I’m always so surprised when people from Scotland tell me that they’ve never ventured up north… what are you waiting for!?
