Hopetoun House Wedding
Bryony & Adam
Hopetoun House
Hopetoun House is such a beautifully iconic place…
If you want to get married at an outrageously epic location in Scotland, then this is a must see. Not only is the building steeped in history, it’s super close to the forth bridges and just a short distance from Edinburgh. As soon as you start making your way down its long driveway, you feel like you’ve been transported to a period drama. It certainly makes for a luxury wedding experience and it was a great pleasure to be given the opportunity to photograph such an amazing day.
Bryony and Adam’s wedding was so much fun…
The day started at The Kimpton Hotel, Charlotte Square, Edinburgh where all of the morning preparations took place. It’s always such a great feeling when there is such a fun and energetic energy in the morning of a wedding. It really makes me excited for the rest of the day. I knew immediately that this was going to be an awesome day… and I certainly wasn’t disappointed.
The whole day was filled with love and laughter.
The guests were all on top form throughout the day, which gave me the freedom to capture loads of amazingly candid moments. Bryony and Adam were so much fun to work with. We explored the grounds and we had a great laugh doing so. I always like to keep things nice and relaxed when photographing portraits in order to keep things super chilled and natural. It was important for me not only to capture the beauty of the location, but to also capture their personalities and the happiness that the both exuded on the day.
All in all, a pretty perfect wedding day.
