My busiest and most exciting year as a wedding photographer yet!

Why was 2022 so damn busy!?

What a year! Incredibly busy, but so amazingly productive and creative. Remember you’re old friend Covid? Well, all of those weddings from 2020 and 2021 that had to be postponed landed in 2022. So it was a heady mixture of existing bookings and Covid postponements. I have to be honest, I was running on fumes at times, but as soon as I arrived at a wedding I had a fresh burst of enthusiasm. There’s nothing quite like using the infectious energy of others to get you in the spirit.

I must use this opportunity to give a ridiculously big thank you to all of the brides and grooms that have booked, rebooked and rebooked me again. I have covered the length and breadth of Scotland. I have visited some of my old favourite locations and have discovered some incredibly beautiful places that were new to me. Every day I feel so fortunate that this is my job and I hope to keep on doing it for a long time.

2023 feels like it’s getting back to normal. I’m really excited for what’s in store for the coming year. Even after doing this for 10 years, I’m still constantly learning, pushing the boundaries and loving every minute.
